Art Submissions
La Cuadra Magazine has featured, in print, the work of some truely talented artists from Latin America, Europe and the United States. While we try to keep our Featured Artist layouts in the hard copy of the magazine focused on artists with a connection to Guatemala, we are open to submissions from around the world. If you have works that you would like featured in print or online, please contact us with a link to a website where we can view your painting, sculptures, drawings or multimedia projects. While with the print magazine we have been limited to featuring only 6 artists a year, we intend to create a virtual gallery on this website with greater freedom to expand. In general, we stay away from strictly decorative artists and seek out individuals with something to say. Particularly, in the coming months, we are hoping to farm some young talent willing to take on difficult subject matter ranging from subversive spirituality or revolutionary politics. Or girls dressed in leather. All three at once are, of course, the preference.
As with our written submissions, our policy is to not comment on the work unless we intend to use it either in print or on line.
